I've been a software engineer for nearly a decade. Four of those years were at Cisco, working on Webex — apps used by millions of people every day, where I spent a lot of my time on the unglamorous things that make software trustworthy: accessibility, consistency, and the edge cases most teams skip. Before that I built a transit booking system used across the US and Canada at Routematch, later acquired by Uber, and led iOS development across agency projects in Ireland.
FirmProof exists because I think compliance tooling in this market has the wrong incentives — anonymous audit shops that profit from frightening findings. I build the opposite: a monitor with published methodology, measured accuracy, and evidence you can check yourself. The detectors, the benchmark, the source watch and this page are all my work, and the buck for every finding stops with me.

No remediation upsell — ever
We don't sell fixes, so we have no incentive to inflate findings. A monitor that profits from problems has a reason to frighten you. Our only incentive is being right.
Evidence before verdict
Every finding shows the page, the excerpt, and the SRA source it was tested against — so you can verify it yourself in two clicks. If we can't show the working, we don't show the finding.
Methodology in public
How every check decides, and our measured accuracy against a labelled benchmark of real firm websites, is published — not marketing claims, numbers.
Minimal data, public pages only
We read what any visitor to your website can read. No client matter data, no logged-in areas, no document uploads. There's simply less to trust us with.
Where consultants fit
FirmProof deliberately does not compete with compliance consultants or your web agency — it feeds them. The scanner gathers dated evidence weekly; humans exercise judgement and make fixes. If you already have a consultant you trust, FirmProof makes their reviews faster and their advice better-evidenced. If you don't, the findings tell your web agency exactly what to change.
